Our troop celebrates ten Junior Girl Scouts from three different Tigard, Oregon schools. Our home council is the Columbia River Girl Scout Council in Northwestern Oregon/Southwestern Washington. , Tiffany S., Karyn S., and Carolyn W. We are just learning what it is to be Junior Girl Scouts and selected two badges to complete by spring: Horse Lover and Pet Care. We will work on the Sports badge this spring. We created our own troop conduct contract following decision making skills we are learning in the troop. As invited guests, we shared our Rededication/Investiture ceremony this year with a sister service unit in the Santiam GSC of Salem, Oregon. It was our first activity outside of our home council! Our leaders are very active, and our parent resources include several moms and many dads. Our troop served Thanksgiving dinner to the needy and homeless at Dalton's Family Restaurant in Tualatin, Oregon, on Thanksgiving Day. It was a lot of fun!
