We are Brownie Troop # 135 in beautiful Redding, California. We enjoy working on our Try-Its and doing lots of community service projects. For our first meeting, we will work on our Girl Scout Ways Try It. Our leader says this covers some of the basics of Girl Scouting. Last year, with the money our troop earned from selling cookies, we took a bus trip to San Francisco. It was great!! We chartered a bus, so that even the parents could relax and have a good time on the way. We stopped at the Jelly Belly Jelly Bean Factory for a tour, then it was off to the city. We had time to explore at Pier 39, have lunch and do some shopping. Next stop, the Basic Brown Bear factory where we got to make our very own teddy bears! Overall, it was a wonderful trip. Most everybody (except the driver!) took a nap on the way home.
