HI! We are Troop #54 from The Gulf Pines Council in Hattiesburg, MS. We have just finished our fall roundup and are very excited for all of the new Girl Scouts. Chaquita, who is in her second year, Laura, who is just completing her first month, and the new girls, Charol, Laretha, Samantha, Camille, Eboni, Adrienne, Amber, Kristi, Holly, Jennie, Kanisha, Monica, and Katie.

Jennie is from England and will only be with us until December. Her father is a professor participating in an exchange program at the local University. We will try to help Jennie get a page started so that you can learn more about her before she leaves.

Laura, Chaquita, Laretha, Camille, Eboni, Adrienne, and Amber went to The Limited Too on September 19 and had a wonderful time. Their parents really enjoyed the fashion show they put on.

Our next event is the On-time event at Camp Iti-Kana on October 19. We will be going back to pioneer times, going on hay rides, taffy-pulling, candle dipping and many other activities.

We are hosting a Halloween Party on October 31 for the Hattiesburg Service Unit. We will also be going to the Juliette Low Jamboree on November 2 at Camp Iti-Kana. And we are participating in the natiowide service project sponsored by Troop #777. In addition to this, we are working on a program to tour with during cookie sale time. We will present this to our parents at an appreciation dinner on December 19.
